"505 - morphine not found" (morphine500)

Specifically the 1991 model, with the 305 TBI (L03) motor. This is the one:
I’m going to drive and write about a pristine example, but as there’s little knowledge on these cars around my parts, would love to get some background info - a little more that is, than the description on wiki.
As a thank you present, here’s a short, and amateur video about the new Panamera V8 on track (the Lausitzring to be precise):
cheers!

It has about the same top speed as our old diesel Citroën.

The 305 is slow as fuck but reliable. My ‘88 Silverado with the 305 went to 468k miles before I sold it, never needed anything rebuilt or replaced besides the exhaust and power steering pump. I swear by the 305. Still see that thing around pulling a landscaping trailer.
‘91 is the only year that the caprice had those fender skirt style rear fenders.

best quote I’ve ever heard about the Caprise: “If I wanted to feel the road, I’d get out of the car and stand on it with my own two feet.”

I am going to put this lightly.
The “LOL03" engine is a flabby hunk of whale shit. And I’m a Chevy engine guy.
It will get you down the road but do not expect much performance.

I definitely wanna read about it! I’ve been wanting a ‘91 Caprice since I’ve first seen it in Jumanji. Must have been around 2ooo. One of my all time favorites!

I love you for that, thanks. Excellent quote, was it anybody of note saying it?

I would agree, but have no choice, sadly.

I was looking for something like this, thanks. What did mileage look like in your truck?

Like any other old American workhorse that’s earned its ugly.

Isn’t that engine the 5.0 I keep hearing those Ford guys talk about? It’s slow? How bad is the 4.9 that the Mustangs came stock with?

Oh darn, it was actually about the Crown Vic. An engineer that I know wrote a eulogy piece for the Crown Vic a while back. Here is the exact excerpt. “Considered the antithesis of vehicle handling the Crown Vic provided drivers with an experience akin to eating Pablum. Pearl Jacobson says “By golly, if I wanted to feel the road I’d walk on it with my bare feet. And you’d have to be a darn fool to want to do that.””

Well, TBH, Crown Vic handling and Caprice handling is supposed to be the same, so this fits non the less. Anyway, thanks a lot for looking into it for me!
